AI Architect

Role Overview EPAM Systems is looking for an experienced AI Architect to lead the end-to-end design, development, and production deployment of advanced Generative AI solutions. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI research and enterprise-scale engineering, applying modern tools, cloud platforms, and MLOps practices to solve complex real-world problems. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement scalable architectures for Generative AI solutions using state-of-the-art frameworks and cloud platforms - Develop, fine-tune, and productionize Generative AI and traditional AI/ML models to ensure optimal performance and stability - Ensure compliance with governance, security, and ethical AI standards throughout model development and deployment - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver seamless and robust AI solutions - Optimize model performance using evaluation tools such as RAGAS and DeepEval - Integrate vector databases including FAISS and Qdrant into AI pipelines to improve information retrieval and storage - Build scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure using best-in-class AI services - Apply MLOps practices to streamline development, deployment, and monitoring workflows - Leverage Generative AI tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, PEFT, LoRA, QLoRA, and RAG pipelines - Provide deep expertise on traditional deep learning architectures including LSTM, CNN, and VAE Required Qualifications - 12 or more years of experience in AI and ML, with at least 2 years focused on Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic systems - Strong proficiency in neural network architectures such as LSTM, CNN, and VAE - Hands-on expertise with GenAI tools including LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Hugging Face - Practical skills in PEFT, LoRA, QLoRA, and RAG pipeline development - Experience working with vector databases such as FAISS and Qdrant - Proficiency across cloud AI platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP with solid MLOps knowledge - Familiarity with AI evaluation frameworks such as RAGAS and DeepEval - Strong coding skills and a proven problem-solving mindset - English communication proficiency at B2 level or above Why Join Us EPAM Systems is a global leader in software engineering and digital transformation with a strong culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
