Accounts Receivable Caller (AR Caller)

Role Overview Access Healthcare is seeking skilled Accounts Receivable Callers to join our growing Revenue Cycle Management team in Chennai. As an AR Caller, you will be at the heart of our healthcare billing operations, ensuring that medical claims are processed accurately and payments are received in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for making outbound calls to US-based insurance companies to follow up on pending, denied, or underpaid medical claims. Your role involves investigating claim statuses, identifying root causes of denials or discrepancies, and initiating the appropriate corrective or appeals process. You will verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage to authorise or challenge claims as required. Accurate documentation of every interaction will be maintained using CRM tools to ensure a complete audit trail. You will also coordinate with internal billing teams, healthcare providers, and patients to bring complex billing disputes to resolution efficiently. Required Qualifications Candidates must possess 1 to 6 years of hands-on experience in AR calling or US healthcare revenue cycle management. Practical knowledge of denial management and proficiency in claim forms such as CMS 1500 and UB04 are essential. Strong verbal communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with US insurance representatives and internal stakeholders. The ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and maintain accuracy under pressure is critical to success in this role. Willingness to work in a US shift (night shift) is mandatory.
