As an Accounting Services Associate II based in Bengaluru, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and contributing to seamless accounting operations. Key Responsibilities - Examine, prepare, and maintain statutory accounts, financial statements, and management reports - Maintain general ledger, regulatory records, and accounts payable or receivable transactions - Process vendor invoices, respond to vendor queries, and handle employee expense reimbursement requests - Prepare reconciliations and analyses of billing runs to identify discrepancies or potential fraud - Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards - Assist in consolidation journal entries and elimination of inter-company transactions - Disburse payroll, process payroll taxes, and monitor employee benefit payments - Prepare payroll expenditure and expense analysis reports for management review - Apply and customise XBRL taxonomies for accurate financial statement tagging and regulatory reporting - Maintain shareholder account records, process dividend payments, and handle tax reporting - Analyse capital budget requests and support cost reduction programmes - Produce progress reports and presentations for internal management and external stakeholders Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field - Understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and compliance standards - Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes - Basic knowledge of XBRL tagging and financial regulatory reporting is an advantage - Strong data organisation, coordination, and analytical skills - Ability to work within established procedures with moderate supervision - Effective communication skills for exchanging information across teams - Relevant certifications or vocational training in finance or accounting is a plus Why Join Us At Conduent, individuality is noticed and valued every day, offering you a workplace where you can personally thrive, make a meaningful impact, and build a long-term career.
