Ward Nurse

Key Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care and ensure each patient receives appropriate treatment throughout their stay - Conduct regular patient assessments, monitor vital signs and health conditions, and promptly report any significant changes to the treating physician - Administer prescribed medications and therapeutic treatments accurately and in compliance with hospital protocols - Maintain thorough and up-to-date patient records including nursing notes, treatment charts, and care documentation - Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and allied health professionals to develop and execute individualised care plans - Participate in continuous professional development programmes and nursing education sessions to remain current with best practices Required Qualifications - Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or a degree in nursing from a recognised institution - Valid nursing registration with the State or Indian Nursing Council - 2 to 7 years of relevant clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting - Hands-on experience in areas such as ICU, NICU, CCU, OT, casualty, or general ward nursing is an advantage - Strong knowledge of nursing principles, medication administration, infection control, and patient safety procedures - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Why Join Us Fortis Healthcare is one of India's most trusted and recognised hospital networks, offering nursing professionals a stimulating and supportive environment to grow their careers.
