Role Overview
Postman is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Bengaluru to join our global team. You will serve as a technical expert on the Postman API platform, resolving complex customer-reported issues. This role requires working in the Bangalore office three days a week, transitioning to five days by the end of the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot customer issues to ensure speedy resolution.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly over phone, chat, and written support channels.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to identify bugs and test software solutions.
- Streamline processes, build internal tools, and develop proofs-of-concept for users.
- Contribute to community forums and update FAQs in the customer knowledge base.
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage to support our global customer base.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience providing technical support for modern SaaS or developer-focused products.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, networking, and how web applications operate.
- Basic coding knowledge in programming languages like JavaScript, Node.js, or PHP.
- Experience using Jira, GitHub, Zendesk, and Confluence for customer support tracking.
- Strong analytical skills and a calm, structured approach to handling high-urgency issues.

- 2+ years of experience in technical support for SaaS or API-related products
