System Administrator

Role Overview Futurism Technologies is looking for an experienced System Administrator to oversee our IT infrastructure in Pune. You will manage the operation, configuration, and security of servers, network switches, and firewalls. Key Responsibilities - Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers in physical and virtual setups. - Administer user accounts, security permissions, and access rights across systems. - Manage network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN connections. - Troubleshoot complex server and network-related issues escalated from support teams. - Implement system backups, disaster recovery strategies, and data protection plans. - Conduct security assessments, system log monitoring, and patch management processes. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in server and network administration. - Experience with Windows Server (2016-2022) and Linux operating systems. - Familiarity with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V) and SonicWall/Fortigate firewalls. - Ability to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment in Pune.
