Sr. System Administrator

Role Overview At Futurism Technologies, we are seeking a Sr. System Administrator to lead the management of our IT infrastructure in Pune. You will be responsible for overseeing server operations, virtualization setups, and network security systems. Your expertise will be key to ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our global client environments. Key Responsibilities - Configure, deploy, and monitor Windows and Linux servers across cloud and physical environments. - Administer DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policies, IIS, and database services. - Oversee network switches, routers, firewalls (SonicWall/Fortigate), and VPN integrations. - Act as the senior escalation point to diagnose and resolve complex system incidents. - Implement backup, disaster recovery, and data retention policies across systems. - Monitor logs, conduct security audits, and oversee system patch management. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, system configurations, and guidelines. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields. - 7 to 10 years of experience in system administration and infrastructure support. - Deep knowledge of Windows Server (up to 2025), Linux, and Hyper-V virtualization. - Experience managing M365, Azure, AWS cloud, and Plesk/cPanel tools. - Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment in Pune. - Strong problem-solving skills and professional system administration certifications.
