Role Overview This is a supervisory position focused on managing the Accounts Receivable process in US healthcare. You will oversee claims review, denial resolution, and team performance while driving process improvements and ensuring operational excellence in a dynamic healthcare operations environment. Key Responsibilities - Implement and manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities including claims review, contracts analysis, and identification of payment errors and denials - Lead and supervise a team of 18-20 people, ensuring performance metrics are achieved and maintaining a productive work environment - Conduct complex claims analysis and audit activities to identify trends, determine root causes of payment inaccuracies, and recommend process improvements - Monitor SLAs and KPIs, identifying improvement areas and implementing measures to maximize customer satisfaction - Analyze denied and rejected claims to identify recovery opportunities and collaborate with internal divisions - Partner with leadership on revenue objectives and develop improvement plans for department and individual performance - Maintain production and quality databases for analysis and reporting - Provide regular feedback to team members and management on performance metrics Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in any stream or equivalent professional experience - Minimum 5 years of team handling experience managing 18-20 member teams - Minimum 5 years of US healthcare and Accounts Receivable claims experience - Sound knowledge of RCM including AR, PP, and CB functions - Extensive knowledge of NextGen, Allscripts, and Epic healthcare systems - Fair understanding of UB04 and HICFA 1500 claim forms - Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations - Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint - Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends in data - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Willingness to work night shifts Why Join Us Optum is a leading healthcare company offering career growth opportunities in a dynamic operations environment.
