Key Responsibilities
As a Staff Nurse at Sankara Eye Hospital, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end nursing care to patients in line with physicians' instructions. Your daily duties will include monitoring and documenting vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress, as well as safely administering medications, injections, intravenous fluids, and prescribed treatments. You will actively assist doctors during clinical examinations, surgical procedures, and ward rounds. Accurate maintenance of patient records, nursing notes, and medical reports will be a core part of your role. You will uphold strict infection control protocols and patient safety standards at all times, while preparing patients for diagnostic investigations and procedures. Emergency response and immediate nursing interventions will also fall within your scope of work. Additionally, you will educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, medication usage, and post-discharge recovery. Coordination with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, management of ward inventory and medical equipment, and support during patient admission, discharge, and transfers are also expected. All duties must adhere to hospital policies, NABH guidelines, and professional nursing ethics, including shift handovers and on-call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a BSc in Nursing or a GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) diploma. Freshers from the 2025 or 2026 passing batch are encouraged to apply. A sound understanding of patient care protocols, diagnostic procedures, and clinical record management is essential.

Requirements
BSc in Nursing or GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) diploma
Fresh graduates from 2025 or 2026 passing batch preferred
0 to 1 year of work experience in a clinical or hospital setting
Knowledge of patient care protocols and nursing procedures
Proficiency in administering medications, injections, and IV fluids
Familiarity with diagnostic test preparation and patient record management
Ability to handle emergency situations with composure
Awareness of infection control and hospital hygiene standards
Knowledge of NABH guidelines and ethical nursing practices
Strong communication and coordination skills for working with healthcare teams
