Software Engineering Senior Analyst - HIH

Role Overview The Cigna Group's Evernorth Health Services division is seeking a Software Engineering Senior Analyst to join our innovation hub in Hyderabad. You will design, optimize, and support enterprise data engineering solutions that power critical pharmacy and healthcare benefits services. Key Responsibilities - Design and maintain SQL, PL/SQL packages, and database objects in Oracle and PostgreSQL. - Construct scalable data models and ETL/ELT pipelines to support business operations. - Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural direction for data platforms. - Drive database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization. - Develop automated data validation and monitoring scripts using Python and Shell. - Collaborate with distributed application developers, architects, and DevOps teams. - Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish development standards. - Support cloud migration and application transformation initiatives. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline. - Overall 5 years of software engineering, database engineering, or data engineering experience. - At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL optimization. - Strong proficiency in building ETL/ELT data integration pipelines. - Experience with Python and Shell scripting in an Agile/Scrum environment.
