Software Engineer - ServiceNow Developer

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Chennai on a full-time, work-from-office basis. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, developing, and optimising ServiceNow modules including ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, and ITOM to meet evolving business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance ServiceNow solutions across the organisation. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, configure, and deploy ServiceNow solutions aligned to business requirements - Build and customise ServiceNow applications, workflows, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts - Integrate ServiceNow with third-party platforms using REST and SOAP APIs along with MID servers - Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalog, Orchestration, and Automation workflows - Develop custom modules within ServiceNow using JavaScript, Glide API, and platform best practices - Optimise the performance, security, and scalability of ServiceNow applications - Implement Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset, and Configuration Management workflows - Configure HRSD workflows to streamline and enhance the employee experience - Develop ITOM capabilities including Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, and AIOps - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across ServiceNow modules - Stay current with ServiceNow product releases, updates, and industry best practices Required Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of practical experience in ServiceNow development and implementation - Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, and ITOM modules - Strong command of JavaScript, Glide API, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Workflows - Proven experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST and SOAP APIs - Solid knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Catalog customisation - Familiarity with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Service Portal - Experience working with Performance Analytics and Reporting within ServiceNow - ITIL v3 or v4 certification is an added advantage - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities Why Join Us Talentgigs offers an opportunity to work on diverse and impactful ServiceNow implementations within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
