Role Overview HCLTech is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team supporting a premier Swiss private banking institution. In this role, you will ensure the stability and reliability of critical application environments across non-production systems during a major digital transformation. You will operate in a high-integrity, compliant environment where precision and wealth management discretion are paramount. Key Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality technical support and troubleshooting across development, testing, and UAT environments. - Use Jenkins and PowerShell to automate administrative tasks and ensure process optimization. - Lead root cause analysis for complex system incidents and implement corrective security measures. - Document system solutions to maintain and update the team knowledge base for continuous training. - Coordinate with cross-functional support teams to resolve tickets within SLAs and uphold security protocols. - Drive customer satisfaction by proactively mitigating potential system vulnerabilities. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - Six or more years of experience in application support or IT operations, ideally in financial services. - Advanced expertise in Jenkins for continuous integration and automated deployment pipelines. - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for system administration and task automation. - Good knowledge of Python and Ansible for configuration management and automation. - Practical experience with incident management frameworks and root cause analysis.
