Senior Network Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on enterprise-grade network infrastructure. This is a contract opportunity based in Chennai for a professional who can combine deep technical knowledge with leadership capabilities to drive network reliability and modernization in a global setting. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, automating, and maintaining robust network systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure - Lead network automation initiatives and drive infrastructure modernization projects - Configure and manage routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS - Deploy and maintain enterprise firewall technologies and network security solutions - Plan and execute wireless network design and deployment across enterprise environments - Perform proactive network monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis - Maintain accurate technical documentation and manage change control processes - Coordinate with vendors and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels - Contribute to Agile and Network Reliability Engineering frameworks for continuous improvement Required Qualifications - 8 or more years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles - Strong proficiency in LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi technologies, and network security - Solid understanding of BGP, OSPF, and MPLS routing and switching protocols - Experience with enterprise firewall platforms and security architecture - Proven ability to design and deploy wireless networks at enterprise scale - Familiarity with network automation tools and methodologies - CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent industry certification is preferred - Experience working in Agile or Network Reliability Engineering environments is an advantage Why Join Us This role offers a compelling opportunity to work on complex, large-scale network challenges within a globally connected environment.
