Senior Fund Administrator

Role Overview HSBC is seeking a Senior Fund Administrator to join our Transfer Agency Operations team in Bengaluru. In this contractual role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert, managing high-volume and high-value transactions for key global clients across different time zones. Key Responsibilities - Input, process, and verify high-volume mutual fund transactions and Transfer Agency activities accurately. - Manage transactions under strict daily dealing, reporting, and payment cut-off times to prevent adverse client impact. - Maintain day-to-day administration in fund processing in compliance with agreed procedures and regulatory controls. - Identify and proactively resolve complex problem situations to ensure maximum client satisfaction. - Suggest and implement process improvements in consultation with supervisors to optimize resource utilization. - Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external global clients. - Drive customer-centric quality campaigns and initiatives to increase quality awareness within the team. Required Qualifications - Graduate or post-graduate degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline. - Two to three years of experience in Transfer Agency, Registrar, or Fund Services operations. - Strong knowledge of regulations such as CASS, Investor Money Regulations (IMR), GDPR, FATCA, CRS, and CSSF. - Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. - Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills with a strong risk awareness. - Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related fields - Two to three years of experience in Transfer Agency or Fund Services operations - Knowledge of mutual fund operations and Transfer Agency transaction activities - Familiarity with regulations such as CASS, IMR, GDPR, FATCA, CRS, and CSSF - Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word - Charted Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) certification is preferred
