Senior Financial Accountant

Role Overview ICON plc is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant in Chennai to join our dynamic Project Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis group. In this role, you will provide critical financial and consulting services designed to add value, direction, and leadership to the business. Key Responsibilities - Lead the Project Finance Analyst team with a focus on high-quality delivery and building a center of excellence - Hire and onboard top finance talent based on business requirements and timelines - Own study end-to-end financial health by analyzing FTE overburn, invoicing, and potential billing opportunities - Prepare and maintain monthly revenue financial forecasts and budget reconciliations - Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, key performance indicators, and revenue drivers - Build strong working relationships with project management and support pre-close revenue reviews Required Qualifications - Professional Accountancy Qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, or CWA is mandatory - Completed Bachelor's degree or its international equivalent in finance or accounting - Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in financial analysis and planning - At least 2 years of experience in managing teams and performing annual performance appraisals - Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Oracle Financial systems, Hyperion, Alteryx, or Power BI - Exceptional verbal and written communication, analytical, and influencing skills Why Join Us At ICON plc, you will thrive in a values-driven organization that offers competitive rewards, health programs, and career pathways.
