Responsibilities
Take absolute ownership and lead a small team of junior engineers to drive complex embedded firmware project outcomes. Collaborate closely with junior engineers to meticulously define system specifications, spearhead software design and implementation, and validate software within a broader system architecture. Skillfully translate Probots' Customer and complex subsystem
requirements
into robust, reliable embedded software. Lead all facets of the embedded software lifecycle—from pre-development and design prototyping to testing, validation, and production maintenance—with minimal guidance. Effectively plan and execute multiple concurrent project
requirements
while dynamically adapting to changing engineering priorities. Conduct thorough, constructive code reviews for junior developers to guarantee strict adherence to modern coding best practices. Maintain close, continuous interaction with the Hardware and Senior Firmware Development teams throughout product development. Architect and generate highly optimized algorithms, flow charts, and state model diagrams to implement customer
requirements
into firmware. Coordinate with cross-functional members to ensure state model diagrams are flawlessly implemented in the final code base. Drive continuous optimization and performance tuning by optimizing C/C++ code for maximum memory and processing efficiency. Work hands-on with modern wireless technologies (WiFi, BLE, IoT protocols) on the latest microcontrollers, including ARM, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266, ESP32, and NodeMCU. Actively participate in rigorous technical reviews to ensure the high quality of all deliverables. Establish and configure advanced GCC/Linux Kernel setups and generate custom, scalable compilation environments. AI Adaptation Leverage Generative AI and LLM-powered coding assistants to accelerate the development of robust Embedded Firmware and optimize C++ logic. Use AI Tools and Agents for RCA, Logging, Code Maintenance Triage, etc Implement AI-enhanced predictive modeling to optimize power consumption and resource allocation in low-power IoT devices. Integrate machine learning models at the edge, utilizing hardware acceleration features on modern SoCs for real-time data processing. Teamwork, Ownership & Process Work highly effectively within a fast-paced Agile scrum team to improve delivery and performance metrics. Guarantee strict SDLC process compliance across requirements, architecture, implementation, and verification. experience

experience

experience
in Object-Oriented Design (OOAD/OOPS). Mastery in Abstraction, Encapsulation, Inheritance, Polymorphism, New/Delete/Smart ptr utilization, Constructors/Destructors, and Static functions/variables. Demonstrate a rock-solid command over common data structures and advanced algorithms. Hardware & Architecture: Possess 2-6 years of
experience
