Senior Associate - Transaction Reporting Operations

Role Overview S&P Global is hiring a Senior Associate for its Cappitech division, a globally recognised leader in trade and transaction reporting solutions. This client-facing role sits within the Operations Consulting team and requires you to manage client workflows, resolve regulatory reporting issues, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will be part of a diverse, fast-paced team that supports banks, brokers, hedge funds, and asset managers in meeting their global regulatory obligations. Key Responsibilities - Handle client enquiries and requests, managing them efficiently from initiation through to resolution - Guide clients in understanding the Cappitech platform and help them resolve day-to-day transaction reporting issues - Participate in client training sessions and on-site visits as required - Escalate unresolved issues promptly and ensure timely follow-up and closure - Support validation and UAT activities for issue resolution and product fixes - Contribute to client-specific projects and continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications - Prior experience in a client-facing role within the financial services industry - Working knowledge of transaction reporting regulations such as EMIR, MiFID, ASIC, CFTC, SEC, or SFTR is preferred - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with SQL and API concepts is an advantage - Strong analytical skills with the ability to grasp technical concepts quickly - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt style across different audiences - Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team Why Join Us At S&P Global, you will be part of a worldwide team of over 35,000 professionals dedicated to delivering essential intelligence that drives confident decision-making across global markets. - Experience in client-facing roles in financial services - Knowledge of transaction reporting regulations such as EMIR, MiFID, ASIC, CFTC, SEC, or SFTR - Advanced MS Excel skills - Understanding of SQL and API concepts - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities - Experience with securities finance is an added advantage - Familiarity with third-party vendor systems is useful
