SAP PPDS Lead Consultant

Role Overview Mindsprint is looking for a skilled SAP PPDS Lead Consultant with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP APO PPDS, S/4HANA Embedded PPDS, and SAP IBP Response and Supply planning. This is a client-facing role that involves leading end-to-end solution design, implementation, and support for large-scale global supply chain transformation programs. The ideal candidate brings strong functional expertise in production planning, detailed scheduling, capacity planning, and manufacturing integration processes. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage end-to-end SAP PPDS implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and AMS engagements - Gather and analyse business requirements to design scalable planning and scheduling solutions - Configure and optimise SAP PPDS features including Product Heuristics, Detailed Scheduling Planning Board, PP/DS Optimizer, Capacity Planning, Setup Matrix, and Alert Management - Configure and support CIF integration between ECC/S/4HANA and APO/PPDS environments - Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams covering PP, MM, SD, QM, and EWM modules - Execute unit testing, SIT, UAT support, defect resolution, and deployment activities - Support cutover planning, go-live activities, hypercare, and post-production stabilisation - Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with development teams for custom enhancements - Conduct client workshops, solution demonstrations, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions - Mentor junior consultants and contribute to presales, effort estimations, and solution discussions Required Qualifications - 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain Planning with strong expertise in SAP APO PPDS and/or S/4HANA Embedded PPDS - Minimum 2 to 3 completed end-to-end implementation projects in APO PPDS or S/4HANA PPDS - Solid understanding of Production Planning, Detailed Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Supply Planning, and Manufacturing Operations - Hands-on experience with CIF Master Data and Transaction Data Integration, Planning Strategies, Resource Planning, and PPDS Alert Monitoring - Good working knowledge of integration touchpoints with SAP PP, MM, SD, QM, and EWM - Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related discipline - SAP APO PPDS, SAP IBP, or SAP S/4HANA certification is preferred - Experience in global delivery and client-facing consulting environments is an advantage Why Join Us At Mindsprint, you will work on high-impact global supply chain transformation programs with exposure to SAP S/4HANA, IBP, and AI-enabled planning technologies.
