Role Overview Maersk is seeking a customer-focused Sales Support Specialist in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to drive commercial initiatives and support sales administration. Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive support for sales administration and transactional activities. - Manage email communications and internal cases from customers and success partners. - Analyze client segments to sustain volumes and identify wallet share opportunities. - Coordinate with finance, operations, and collections to resolve client issues. - Maintain accurate records of sales activities and ensure error-free documentation. - Leverage positive and persuasive language to address customer queries effectively. - Adhere strictly to operational processes, standard operating procedures, and changes. Required Qualifications - Graduate degree in any stream of study. - Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in sales support or customer service. - Professional standard of English communication (written and verbal). - Flexibility to work night shifts and 5 days from the Chennai office. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-backed decision-making skills. - Experience in direct interaction with global stakeholders.
