Sales Manager

Role Overview Marriott International is seeking an ambitious and relationship-driven Sales Manager to join our Tribute Portfolio team in Kochi, Kerala. In this role, you will proactively solicit new business, build lasting client relationships, and drive sales goals for our independent boutique brand. Key Responsibilities - Proactively solicit and close new sales opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals. - Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and non-duplicative efforts. - Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients through sales calls, entertainment, and trade shows. - Execute administrative sales tasks, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing correspondence. - Coordinate closely with Event Management to ensure a seamless and effective booking turnover. - Analyze market trends and competitor strengths to position Marriott products advantageously. - Gather guest feedback on product and service quality to maintain exceptional service delivery standards. Required Qualifications - 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hospitality Management, plus 1 year of sales experience. - OR a 2-year degree in a related major, plus 3 years of experience in sales and marketing. - Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a professional setting.
