Rate Maintenance Senior Specialist

Role Overview Maersk is looking for a Rate Maintenance Senior Specialist in Chennai to partner with global pricing and sales stakeholders. In this role, you will analyze surcharge data, prevent revenue leakages, and ensure compliant rate execution. Join us to drive global transition projects and elevate Maersk's pricing systems. Key Responsibilities - Communicate with stakeholders (sourcing, cluster, sales) to ensure pricing compliance. - Act as the primary GSC contact for revenue and contract product management. - Analyze business data to recommend cost-saving and revenue-tapping improvements. - Audit pricing calculations and surcharge applications to avoid standard deviations. - Resolve complex surcharge errors and propose structured corrective solutions. - Execute global transitions while ensuring seamless project governance and timelines. - Drive joint initiatives between GSC and Revenue Management to meet business goals. Required Qualifications - Graduate degree in any discipline. - Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping pricing, surcharges, or rate maintenance. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and database analytics tools (SAPBI, Dataiku). - Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work under pressure and support rotational shifts/weekends as needed. - Graduation degree in any discipline - Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping pricing, surcharges, or rate management - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Experience with pricing systems (AFLS, PMA, ML.com is a plus) - Strong communication, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
