Role Overview Legacy Med Pvt Ltd is a leading Revenue Cycle Management company seeking skilled Payment Posting Executives to join their Chennai team. This is a full-time permanent role focused on accurate and timely processing of insurance and patient payments within the US Healthcare billing ecosystem. Key Responsibilities - Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERAs) received from insurance companies - Accurately post insurance payments, patient deductibles, copayments, and contractual write-offs to individual patient accounts - Identify and log denied or partially paid claims and transfer outstanding balances to the AR or denial management team for further action - Ensure proper reconciliation of payments and maintain accuracy across large volumes of billing data Required Qualifications - Prior experience in payment posting, cash posting, or medical billing within a US Healthcare RCM environment - Proficiency in EHR and medical billing software such as Epic, Allscript, Athena, or Citrix - Working knowledge of medical coding systems and standard payer guidelines including Medicare and Medicaid - Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude with the ability to detect variances in large datasets - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC or an equivalent credential is highly desirable Why Join Us Legacy Med Pvt Ltd offers a performance-driven work culture with attractive referral and attendance bonuses, making it a rewarding environment for healthcare billing professionals. - 1 to 6 years of experience in payment posting or medical billing - Hands-on experience with EHR software such as Epic, Allscript, Athena, or Citrix - Strong knowledge of US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management processes - Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer guidelines - Understanding of EOB and ERA processing - Knowledge of medical coding systems - High mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills - CPC certification from AAPC is a plus - Willingness to relocate if required
