Ocean Dispute Resolution Specialist

Role Overview Maersk is seeking an Ocean Dispute Resolution Specialist in Chennai to lead the disputes team in resolving invoice discrepancies. In this role, you will drive process improvements, resolve customer issues within SLA, and enhance invoicing quality. Key Responsibilities - Lead the disputes team to resolve invoicing conflicts and reduce open case volumes. - Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers to drive dispute resolutions within SLA. - Manage team performance, set SMART goals, and coordinate shift planning. - Identify dispute root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Lead platform rollout and process optimization initiatives within GSC. - Coach, mentor, and build a strong succession pipeline within the disputes team. - Track KPIs such as dispute-to-invoice ratios, TAT, and rejected disputes. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. - Strong team leadership, change management, and stakeholder engagement experience. - Firsthand experience in customer experience (CX) and resolving customer disputes. - Good understanding of ocean logistics workflows, pricing, and system interdependencies. - Willingness to work in night shifts to support business requirements.
