Ocean Contract Management Specialist

Role Overview Maersk is seeking an Ocean Contract Management Specialist in Chennai to manage and execute North America (NAM) tenders. You will coordinate closely with sales, pricing, and dispute teams to deliver timely quotations and rate sheets. Key Responsibilities - Manage and execute negotiation rounds of tenders for Non-KC customers, ORA, and Fast Quotes. - Prepare, review, and validate customer tender templates using approved rates. - Coordinate with GSC teams (CCT, disputes, invoice quality) to ensure excellent customer experience. - Utilize digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve pricing efficiency. - Ensure high accuracy and adherence to tender governance standards and SOPs. - Prioritize multiple tenders simultaneously to meet tight deadlines and SLA commitments. - Support process transformation and technology adoption initiatives in tender contract management. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. - 3 to 5 years of experience in tender bidding within logistics, shipping, or supply chain. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with strong analytical capabilities. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with global teams. - Openness to working night shifts to support North America business operations.
