Middleware Administrator

Role Overview LTM is urgently hiring an experienced Middleware Administrator to join our growing IT infrastructure team in Chennai. This is a full-time opportunity suited for professionals with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in middleware technologies and server administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WebSphere Application Server and Apache Tomcat administration on Linux platforms. Key Responsibilities - Administer and maintain WebSphere Application Server and Apache Tomcat in production and non-production environments - Provide ongoing support and maintenance of servers running on Linux platforms - Plan and execute application and web server version upgrades and migrations - Configure WebSphere and Tomcat servers in clustered environments for high availability, load balancing, and failover support - Implement and support JDBC connectivity to various database layers - Integrate application servers such as WebSphere and Tomcat with web servers including Apache and IHS - Handle SSL certificate installations and renewals - Configure JMS integration with WAS ND and manage SSO policy creation along with web agent installations - Diagnose and resolve middleware and server-related issues using Unix and Linux command-line tools - Manage and monitor load balancers, VIP, and WIP configurations Required Qualifications - 3 to 6 years of experience in middleware or application server administration - Proficient in WebSphere Application Server and Apache Tomcat administration - Hands-on experience with Linux and Unix environments and command-line administration - Knowledge of JDBC connectivity, JMS integration, SSO configurations, and web agent setup - Experience with clustering, load balancing, high availability, and failover configurations - Strong troubleshooting and communication skills - IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V9.0 certification is mandatory - Knowledge of Connect Direct or NDM is an added advantage Why Join Us LTM offers a dynamic work environment where skilled professionals can work on enterprise-grade middleware infrastructure and grow their careers in the IT services domain.
