Medical Officer

Role Overview: Indira IVF Hospital is seeking a dedicated and qualified Medical Officer to join its patient care team at the Jabalpur centre. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity suited for BAMS or BHMS graduates with a passion for patient-centred healthcare delivery in a fertility and IVF hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: The Medical Officer will be responsible for thorough patient history taking and documentation, along with accurate assessment and recording of vital signs. The role involves presenting clinical findings to the treating consultant and assisting in the development of individualised care plans. The officer will transcribe medical orders, prescriptions, and discharge summaries as directed by senior consultants, and ensure all documentation is accurately maintained in both physical and electronic formats. Patient-facing duties include explaining procedures, pre-procedure guidelines, and fertility treatment pathways to patients and their families. The officer will also be responsible for clarifying treatment-related queries, counselling couples regarding available fertility solutions, and acting as a liaison between patients, treating doctors, and administrative personnel. Additional responsibilities include transcribing ultrasound scan reports into the electronic health system and ensuring full compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional safety standards. Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) or BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) degree. Prior exposure to OPD settings, patient counselling, or fertility care will be an advantage.
