MANAGER, DATA AND ANALYTICS

Role Overview Join HSBC as a Manager of Data and Analytics in Bengaluru to design and deploy advanced fraud and money mule analytics. In this role, you will convert complex business challenges into quantitative constructs by building predictive algorithms and forecasting simulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions that limit risk and enhance customer experience. Key Responsibilities - Develop Money Mule risk typologies and anomaly detection models across the customer life cycle. - Write efficient SQL, Big Query, or Python code to process and analyze large datasets. - Design relational and dimensional data models and create interactive Looker dashboards. - Translate quantitative findings into clear business insights for key stakeholders and reviewers. - Implement agile and exploratory practices within analytics and strategy projects. - Partner with IT and fraud management teams to drive analytical solutions to deployment. Required Qualifications - 3+ years of hands-on experience solving complex data and business intelligence problems. - Strong proficiency in SQL, Big Query, Python, and LookML dashboard development. - Solid understanding of data modeling, BI visualization, and cloud platforms like GCP. - Proven experience using statistical and machine learning algorithms in the banking domain. - Excellent analytical, creative problem-solving, and communication skills.
