Manager - Data Analytics and Insights

Role Overview Fidelity Investments is hiring a Manager for Data Analytics and Insights to join its Fraud Detection Analytics Team in Chennai. This role is central to identifying and mitigating fraudulent activities such as unauthorized account logins, account openings, and payment attempts on Fidelity's platform. You will work at the intersection of data science, fraud strategy, and business operations to build and refine real-time fraud prevention capabilities. Key Responsibilities - Analyze large and complex datasets to identify risk signals associated with fraudulent debit card transactions - Use Python and SQL to extract actionable insights from high-volume data sources and automate analytical processes - Implement and optimize fraud detection strategies within a real-time fraud decisioning engine - Support anomaly detection initiatives to identify coordinated fraud attacks and organized fraud rings - Communicate data-driven insights to business stakeholders and influence product and risk decisions - Collaborate across cross-functional teams to develop and refine data-informed fraud prevention strategies - Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the fraud detection program through rule refinement, model tuning, and data discovery Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 or more years of experience in data analytics - Proven experience in fraud detection, cybersecurity, or risk management domains preferred - Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and workflow automation - Hands-on experience working with large-scale datasets and analytical platforms - Skilled in data visualization tools, dashboards, and statistical packages for advanced analytics - Familiarity with payment card fraud detection methodologies and risk management practices - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Experience in anomaly detection or fraud analytics is an added advantage Why Join Us Fidelity Investments offers a collaborative, innovation-driven environment where your analytical expertise directly contributes to protecting millions of customers.
