Role Overview Join Barclays as a Legal Entity Booking specialist at the Assistant Vice President level in Pune. In this role, you will assess the integrity of the bank's internal control framework to mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks. You will advise on policies, collaborate across business divisions, and lead control assessment initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Assess the integrity and effectiveness of the bank's internal control framework - Collaborate with stakeholders across bank units to document control assessments and findings - Investigate weaknesses within internal controls to promote risk mitigation and process improvements - Create and present risk assessment reports and recommendations to senior management - Execute compliance reviews aligned to established policies, regulations, and best practices - Guide team members through structured assignments and provide advice to people leaders Required Qualifications - Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, CPA, or equivalent risk qualification - Graduate or Postgraduate degree with experience in Controls or Audit - Strong background in Internal Audit, Control Business Partnership, or Operational Risk - Experience managing controls in Markets, KYC, AML, Financial Crime, or Trade Operations - Proficient in MS Office suite and application of data science or analytics Why Join Us Barclays offers a supportive, values-driven environment where you can develop others and grow your career.
