Lead Associate

Role Overview Genpact is seeking a Lead Associate in Procurement Operations to join our dynamic office in Bengaluru. This role focuses on developing category-specific sourcing strategies to optimize costs and strengthen our global supplier network. Partner with internal stakeholders to drive continuous process improvements and support AI-powered business transformations. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute strategic, category-specific sourcing plans to optimize cost and quality - Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to diversify the company vendor base - Lead vendor negotiations regarding pricing, terms, and service level agreements - Monitor supplier performance and address delivery or quality discrepancies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing activities with client requirements - Maintain accurate procurement documentation, contract records, and supplier database profiles - Support category managers in streamlining operational reporting and procurement workflows Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering - Professional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, CPP, or APICS CPIM is preferred - Proficiency in ERP applications like Oracle, Ariba, or SAP - Strong data evaluation, contract management, and regulatory compliance skills - Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal, C1 level) Why Join Us Grow your career in a curiosity-driven culture that promotes innovation and rewards bold thinkers.
