Java Full Stack Developer

Role Overview Talentgigs is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic engineering team based out of Chennai or Pune. This is a work-from-office role requiring five days of in-office presence. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, senior engineers, and the product team to architect, design, and deliver robust technology solutions that power a sophisticated middle office platform. Key Responsibilities - Work within a scrum team of eight or more engineers focused on service delivery, resiliency, and platform interoperability - Design and develop scalable, high-performing, and fault-tolerant applications using Java and Angular - Consult and collaborate with fellow technologists to build and contribute to reusable code libraries and shared services - Drive design decisions and represent your work in code and architecture reviews with senior technical staff - Develop deep functional expertise in one or more product areas of the platform - Support tech leadership in shaping best practices for continuous improvement of the software platform - Work with messaging frameworks such as IBM MQ and Kafka for event-driven communication between services Required Qualifications - Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with five or more years of relevant work experience - Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles - Proficiency in Java 17 or higher along with hands-on experience in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate - Experience with Angular 11 or higher, JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS - Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems design - Experience with messaging platforms like IBM MQ or Apache Kafka - Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle - Experience following Agile methodologies including test-driven and behavior-driven development practices - Knowledge of the Securities or Financial Services domain is a plus Why Join Us Talentgigs offers the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge middle office platform used by leading financial services clients, giving you exposure to complex enterprise systems at scale.
