IT Assurance Team Lead

Role Overview CohnReznick Professional Services is expanding its India operations and is looking for a skilled IT Assurance Team Lead to join the National Assurance practice in Chennai. This is a hybrid role where you will be part of a dynamic audit team delivering high-quality IT audit and assurance services to clients across multiple industries. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to identify technology risks and provide actionable insights that improve business performance. Key Responsibilities - Plan and scope IT audits for SOC engagements and ICFR audits - Lead technology walkthroughs covering IT general controls and application controls - Develop and execute test procedures and prepare supporting documentation - Conduct root cause analysis, compensating control assessments, and impact analysis - Communicate engagement status to clients and engagement team leadership - Supervise, guide, and coach junior team members across varying skill levels - Lead interviews with IT personnel to document the design of IT General Controls - Manage Access Management including Privileged Access Management and Identity and Access Management - Apply knowledge of Change Management with familiarity in Agile and DevOps methodologies - Work with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, and JDE as well as cloud environments including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Required Qualifications - 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in IT audit, IT risk, or technology assurance - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Accounting Information Systems - Hands-on experience with IT external audit, IT internal audit, or SOX ITGC compliance assessments - Strong knowledge of IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity, databases, networks, and operating systems - CISA certification preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Willingness to travel and work extended hours during peak audit season Why Join Us CohnReznick offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package including generous paid time off, flexible work arrangements, expanded parental leave, and extensive learning and development opportunities. - 2 to 4 years of experience in IT audit or technology risk - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Accounting Information Systems - Experience with SOX ITGC compliance and IT general controls testing - Knowledge of Access Management, Privileged Access Management, and Identity and Access Management - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps change management practices - ERP knowledge in Oracle, SAP, or JDE - Cloud security knowledge in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud - CISA certification preferred - Strong communication and client-facing skills - Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
