Guest Service Associate

Role Overview Marriott International is looking for a passionate and service-oriented Guest Service Associate to join our Courtyard team in Kochi, Kerala. As a fresher, you will receive world-class training to assist guests, manage food and beverage service, and maintain our high hospitality standards. Key Responsibilities - Complete daily closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down items, and cleaning equipment. - Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift using clean-as-you-go practices. - Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glassware, and silver prior to serving guests. - Welcome and acknowledge all guests warmly according to established brand standards. - Communicate with team members and guests using clear and professional language. - Develop and maintain positive working relationships to support the team in achieving service goals. - Address guest inquiries, answer phones professionally, and assist guests with special needs. Required Qualifications - High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. - No prior experience required; open to freshers with a passion for customer service. - Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the entire work shift. - Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills to handle varying objects.
