Guest Service Associate

Role Overview JW Marriott is seeking a passionate Guest Service Associate for our food and beverage operations at Lulu International Shopping Mall in Kochi. You will serve food courses and beverages to guests, set tables to brand standards, and ensure high diner satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests while explaining menu selections clearly. - Set tables according to event specifications and Marriott's high-quality service standards. - Coordinate additional meal requirements, food allergies, and special dietary requests with the kitchen. - Record transactions in the MICROS system accurately at the time orders are placed. - Maintain clean work areas, including chinaware, glassware, and serving stations throughout the shift. - Process customer check payments accurately and complete daily closing operations. - Build positive working relationships with coworkers to achieve team goals and resolve concerns. Required Qualifications - High school diploma, G.E.D. equivalent, or vocational training in hospitality. - Minimum of one year of related work experience in food and beverage services. - Strong communication skills with clean and professional personal presentation. - Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift/carry up to fifty pounds. - Positive customer service attitude with high attention to detail.
