GCP Data Engineer

Role Overview Deqode is actively seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join its growing technology team across multiple locations including Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon, and Kolkata. This is a full-time hybrid role suited for professionals who can join immediately or are currently serving their notice period. You will be responsible for architecting and delivering robust, scalable cloud data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop scalable ETL and ELT data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform - Build, maintain, and optimise BigQuery data warehousing solutions for large-scale analytics - Process and transform high-volume structured and unstructured data using PySpark and Apache Spark - Develop automated, cloud-native data workflows using Apache Airflow and Cloud Composer - Work with core GCP services including Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, and related tools - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data engineering solutions Required Qualifications - Proven hands-on experience in GCP data engineering - Strong proficiency in BigQuery, SQL, Python, and PySpark or Apache Spark - Solid understanding of Apache Beam and Dataflow for stream and batch processing - Experience building and managing ETL and ELT pipelines in cloud environments - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline - Ability to join immediately or within a short notice period Why Join Us Deqode offers a dynamic hybrid work environment where engineers get to solve complex data challenges using cutting-edge cloud technologies.
