Functional Trainer - MetricStream University

Role Overview MetricStream is looking for a skilled Functional Trainer to join MetricStream University (MSU), the training and certification arm that drives rapid adoption of MetricStream GRC applications among customers, partners, and internal teams. In this high-visibility role, you will serve as a functional subject matter expert and educator, delivering impactful training programs that empower users to get the most out of MetricStream's GRC platform. Key Responsibilities - Deliver instructor-led and virtual functional training sessions on MetricStream GRC applications to customers, partners, and internal staff - Understand and assess customer learning needs and customise training content, learning paths, and role-based programs accordingly - Design and develop high-quality training materials including presentations, user guides, demos, video modules, and certification content - Conduct boot camps, workshops, and blended learning sessions for global audiences - Collaborate closely with product, consulting, and support teams to stay current on new features, releases, and customer use cases - Leverage AI-powered tools and modern content creation platforms to build engaging and effective learning experiences - Support training assessments, certifications, and learner enablement programs for partner and customer organisations - Act as a functional SME across multiple GRC modules including Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Policy, Vendor Risk, and Incident Management Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in any relevant discipline - Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience working with MetricStream applications - Strong functional understanding of GRC domains such as Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Policy, Vendor Risk, or Incident Management - Excellent presentation, communication, and public speaking skills with confidence engaging global audiences - Demonstrated experience in developing training content including PPTs, documentation, videos, and eLearning materials - Familiarity with AI-powered tools for content creation, video generation, and productivity enhancement - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams - Willingness to travel for customer and partner training engagements as needed Why Join Us At MetricStream, you will be part of a close-knit, high-impact team that sits at the heart of customer success, with direct visibility to leadership across India and the US.
