Role Overview Cactus Communications is looking for experienced Freelance Subject Matter Experts in Pharmaceutical Chemistry to support AI-driven educational content evaluation. This is a contract-based remote opportunity suited for research professionals with a doctoral background in chemistry or biomedical sciences who are passionate about improving medical education quality. Key Responsibilities - Review and assess AI-generated content covering foundational sciences and preclinical medical curriculum - Evaluate content against defined criteria including accuracy, completeness, relevance, and educational value - Provide subject-matter expert feedback to align content with the learning needs of first- and second-year medical students - Complete assigned content evaluations independently within stipulated timelines - Participate in scheduled quarterly review cycles and contribute to ad hoc evaluation projects as required Required Qualifications - PhD in Chemistry (Organic, Medicinal, Pharmaceutical, Inorganic, or Process Chemistry) or PhD in Biomedical Sciences - Minimum 2 years of relevant post-doctoral or research experience with a strong academic background - Hands-on experience using Reaxys or Embase research databases - Strong analytical and written communication skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines on a freelance basis Why Join Us Cactus Communications is a globally recognised science communication company that empowers researchers and educators alike.
