DevOps Engineer

Role Overview Ericsson is looking for a talented and driven DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of its engineering team in Bengaluru. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that support software development and deployment. You will work alongside a team of diverse and passionate innovators committed to pushing the limits of technology. Key Responsibilities - Build and configure new development tools, infrastructure, and automation pipelines - Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab - Create, manage, and troubleshoot Dockerfiles and Docker Compose configurations - Administer Docker Swarm orchestration environments and ensure high availability - Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and automation - Write and maintain scripts in Bash and Python for task automation - Administer Sonarqube, Nexus, and Artifactory repositories and tools - Manage databases including MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Cassandra - Oversee ELK stack administration for logging and monitoring purposes - Support build and delivery of Maven artifacts and manage Git and GitLab repositories - Collaborate on cloud native architecture design and application deployments Required Qualifications - Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and Docker Swarm - Proficiency in Jenkins and GitLab pipeline creation and troubleshooting - Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python - Solid understanding of Linux systems, API gateways, reverse proxies, and load balancing - Knowledge of Maven build tools and Spring Boot and Wildfly frameworks - Experience with RabbitMQ cluster setup and administration - Good understanding of high availability and scalability design patterns - Familiarity with cloud native architectures and deployment practices - Strong written and spoken English communication skills - Good to have experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Kubernetes, Terraform, Google Cloud Platform, Jira, Confluence, and CNCF tools Why Join Us Ericsson offers an exceptional environment where your skills and creativity can help solve some of the most complex challenges in the world of telecommunications and technology.
