Data Scientist

Role Overview Cardinal Health is looking for a Data Scientist to join our AI and Data Science team in Bengaluru East. You will build and operationalize advanced analytics, classic machine learning, and generative AI solutions that drive material savings. In this role, you will collaborate with business partners and developers to deploy scalable cloud services. Key Responsibilities - Ideate and build Agentic AI, GenAI, and classic machine learning models. - Design ML/LLM pipelines, implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) structures, and perform prompt engineering. - Develop and maintain scalable cloud microservices using Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy. - Integrate microservices with API management platforms like ApigeeX for secure and monitored execution. - Leverage structured and unstructured big data using platforms like GCP and BigQuery. - Track and monitor system performance, logs, and retrieval quality to optimize algorithms. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, or Economics from a reputed institution. - 6 to 8 years of experience in data science, predictive modeling, or machine learning. - Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and experience with CI/CD and MLOps. - Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms like GCP, BigQuery, Azure, or Databricks. - Strong communication skills to articulate analytic solutions to stakeholders.
