Role Overview
SAP is looking for an experienced Senior Customer Renewal Executive to join its Customer Renewals Center (CRC) as part of the APAC Hub team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting and growing SAP's recurring revenue by managing the full renewal lifecycle across corporate and volume customer segments. You will work at the intersection of customer success, commercial negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to drive retention and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end customer renewal opportunities from initial engagement through to contract closure
- Collaborate with customers, Sales teams, Customer Success Managers, and internal stakeholders to design and execute effective renewal strategies
- Lead commercial renewal conversations including pricing negotiations, contract alignment, and multi-year renewal deals
- Identify renewal risks early and implement proactive mitigation actions to reduce churn and improve retention rates
- Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline visibility, and risk reporting to support business planning
- Manage a high-volume renewal portfolio while balancing customer experience and commercial outcomes
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, Commercial Operations, and Virtual Account Teams to ensure timely and successful renewals
- Contribute to renewal excellence initiatives that enhance efficiency, predictability, and customer retention at scale
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in renewals, subscription management, account management, inside sales, or customer retention in a SaaS or software environment
- Demonstrated experience managing customer-facing commercial discussions and contract renewals
- Strong understanding of subscription business models, recurring revenue management, and retention strategies
- Proven ability to handle multiple renewal opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
- Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and stakeholder communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence both customer and internal stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Requirements
