Course Counsellor - IT Training

Role Overview CRUX, a leading information technology company based in Chennai, is looking for a passionate and goal-driven Course Counsellor to be part of its IT training division. In this full-time, work-from-office role based at West Tambaram, Chennai, you will serve as the primary guide for engineering freshers, job seekers, and aspiring tech professionals looking to build a career in the IT industry. Your core mission will be to understand each student's career goals and align them with the right high-demand IT training programs offered by CRUX. Key Responsibilities - Conduct personalized one-on-one and group counseling sessions to assess students' academic backgrounds, skill sets, and career aspirations - Engage with walk-in candidates, inbound phone inquiries, and digital leads to explain course offerings, placement outcomes, and program benefits to drive enrollments - Assist students through registration, batch scheduling, and the complete onboarding process - Coordinate with the technical training and placement teams to ensure a smooth handover from counseling to classroom and eventual job placement - Maintain accurate and updated records of student interactions, follow-ups, and enrollment pipelines using CRM tools - Stay current on IT industry trends, in-demand skill sets such as Full-Stack Development, Mobile App Development, and Cloud Computing, as well as competitor course offerings Required Qualifications - Any undergraduate degree such as B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc. - 0 to 3 years of experience in counseling, inside sales, or student relationship management - Any graduate degree; B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc.
