Business Analyst - Supply Chain

Role Overview Talentgigs is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Supply Chain processes to join their team in Chennai. You will work on custom application projects focused on chemical factory and plant operations, bringing domain knowledge and analytical expertise to deliver impactful technology solutions. This is a full-time, work-from-office role requiring five days on-site presence each week. Key Responsibilities - Gather and analyse business requirements, document existing processes, and conduct user acceptance testing - Design and envision end-to-end solutions that effectively address identified business needs - Evaluate current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement practical solutions - Manage project scope, risks, and issues throughout the delivery lifecycle - Prioritise requirements and create prototypes, wireframes, mock-ups, and user stories to build toward a minimum viable product and final delivery - Collaborate with project, business, UX, and technical teams to elicit detailed functional and non-functional requirements for the product backlog Required Qualifications - Minimum 8 years of total experience with at least 5 years of relevant domain experience - Hands-on experience with Business Process Modelling tools and techniques - Strong working knowledge of agile project delivery and software development lifecycle - Proficiency with Atlassian Jira for backlog and sprint management - Solid understanding of UX and UI concepts to define effective user stories - Ability to run basic database queries and communicate technical concepts clearly - Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills - Experience in product-based manufacturing or supply chain domain is a strong advantage - Familiarity with web and mobile technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, AWS, .Net, and HTML5 is desirable - Certifications such as CCBA, PMI-PBA, or SAFe Agile Product Management are preferred Why Join Us Talentgigs offers the opportunity to work on meaningful custom application projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
