BMC ITSM Remedy Consultant

Role Overview Infosys is looking for an experienced BMC ITSM Remedy Consultant to join its Applications Managed Services and Consulting Services team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with the BMC Suite and a thorough understanding of ITIL best practices. This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities - Install, administer, and manage the BMC Suite including ITSM Remedy, SmartIT, MyIT Digital Workplace, and Service Request Management - Handle administration, operations, customizations, integrations, performance tuning, patch implementation, upgrades, and development of ITSM Remedy - Work with BMC CMDB Asset Management and Smart Reporting tools in accordance with agreed SLAs - Troubleshoot ITSM applications, integrations, and customizations to ensure system stability - Collaborate with developers and technical staff to translate business requirements into system design solutions - Create requirements documentation, test plans, and test cases and conduct functional and user acceptance testing - Demonstrate ITSM applications to business users and assist in the development of process, knowledge base, and training documentation - Follow ITIL standard best practices across all service delivery activities - Provide rotational shift support including weekends and on-call availability for priority issues Required Qualifications - 5 to 10 years of IT experience with hands-on expertise in BMC ITSM Remedy and related tools - Strong knowledge of BMC Suite installation, SmartIT, MyIT, Service Request Management, Smart Reporting, and CMDB Asset Management - Experience working in Applications Managed Services and Consulting Services environments - Proficiency with UNIX and Windows operating systems - Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-facing approach - Ability to exercise independent judgment within defined practices to achieve desired outcomes Why Join Us Infosys offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment where you can grow your technical expertise while working on enterprise-scale ITSM solutions for global clients.
