AWS Developer

Role Overview Zorba AI is looking for a skilled AWS Developer to join its Digital Platforms IT team in Chennai. In this role, you will be a key contributor to building, scaling, and maintaining a Centralized Warranty Repository that serves as a unified System of Record for both B2B and B2C warranty data across more than 15 million product records. This is a high-impact position where your work will directly power a mission-critical platform handling real-time warranty calculations and large-scale data operations. Key Responsibilities - Design and build a two-layer System of Record using AWS Lambda to automate warranty calculation logic based on source precedence rules such as Purchase Date, Service Contract, and Manufacture Date - Manage and optimize Amazon Aurora MySQL clusters to support a database of 15 million-plus records and a daily volume of over 6,000 new entries - Implement robust security measures including VPC isolation, private subnets, and JWT-based authentication via Lambda Authorizers - Collaborate with Workato developers to integrate the AWS ecosystem with Salesforce and Zendesk using webhooks and EventBridge for seamless data flow - Design comprehensive audit logging systems to capture every record change and enforce data validation rules across the platform - Monitor system performance through AWS CloudWatch and manage sensitive credentials securely using AWS Secrets Manager Required Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS development and cloud-native architecture - Deep expertise in AWS Lambda for building high-transaction microservices and complex calculation engines - Strong proficiency in Amazon Aurora MySQL including schema design, performance tuning for high I/O workloads, and large-scale data migrations - Demonstrated experience implementing VPC security groups, private subnets, and API authentication using JWT - Familiarity with event-driven architecture using AWS EventBridge and data migration tools such as AWS DMS - Solid understanding of web technologies including HTTP and JSON for Lambda-based development - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical discipline Why Join Us At Zorba AI, you will have the opportunity to architect solutions that directly manage millions of records and drive product reliability at scale. - 5+ years of AWS development and cloud-native architecture experience - Strong expertise in AWS Lambda and serverless microservices - Hands-on experience with Amazon Aurora MySQL and large-scale database management - Knowledge of VPC security groups, private subnets, and JWT-based API authentication - Experience with AWS EventBridge and AWS DMS for event-driven and migration workflows - Proficiency in HTTP, JSON, and core web programming concepts - Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch and AWS Secrets Manager - Experience with AWS GuardDuty for threat detection is a plus - Knowledge of Workato or MuleSoft integration platforms is an added advantage - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
