Assistant Sales Manager

Role Overview Marriott International is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Sales Manager to join the Aloft Hotels sales team in Bengaluru. Key Responsibilities - Solicit and close new sales opportunities to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals - Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and travel planners - Coordinate with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are aligned and efficient - Participate in sales calls, site inspections, FAM trips, and local industry trade shows - Manage the operational aspects of bookings, including proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence - Provide complete and accurate event turnovers to the Event Management team - Analyze market competitor strengths, weak areas, and demand trends to position our hotel effectively Required Qualifications - Two-year degree in Business, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 2 years of sales experience - Alternatively, a four-year Bachelor's degree in a related business major with no prior experience - Excellent interpersonal, guest relationship, and communication skills - Strong understanding of sales processes, contract negotiation, and customer service Why Join Us In joining Aloft Hotels, you join Marriott International, the world's largest hospitality company.
