Role Overview
PwC Acceleration Centers is looking for an AR Calling Specialist to join its Revenue Cycle Management Services team across Hyderabad, Coimbatore, and Bengaluru. In this role, you will be part of the Operations Consulting team and contribute specialized expertise in healthcare provider revenue cycle management, denial handling, and AR follow-up. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering exposure to challenging client engagements, digitally enabled training, and a collaborative work culture focused on improving patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle AR calling, denial management, and follow-up on outstanding insurance claims for healthcare provider clients
- Conduct in-depth analyses of revenue cycle data to identify trends, payment delays, and denial patterns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiencies and drive client satisfaction
- Review and process medical billing transactions using billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Provide technical support for project deliverables and adapt to evolving process requirements
- Gather and interpret data to support decision-making and improve reimbursement outcomes
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications
- Any undergraduate or graduate degree from a recognised university (10+2 or equivalent also considered)
- Minimum 6 months of experience in healthcare provider revenue cycle management
- Strong understanding of medical billing processes, insurance claims, and reimbursement methodologies
- Proficiency in billing software, EHR platforms, and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Familiarity with medical coding standards including ICD-10 and CPT
- Knowledge of UB-04 and CMS-1500 claim forms preferred
- Experience with Epic HB or PB systems is an added advantage
- Willingness to work in US time zone night shifts
