Application Developer - ERP (SAP ABAP)

Role Overview Cargill is looking for an experienced Application Developer with a strong techno-functional background in SAP ERP to join its Bengaluru team. In this role, you will design, build, enhance, and support SAP solutions across SD, MM, and optionally ACM modules. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, delivering stable and scalable solutions across both implementation and support environments. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions covering RICEF objects such as Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate functional requirements in SD and MM modules into detailed technical specifications - Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementations including blueprinting, realization, testing, and go-live deployment - Provide L2 and L3 support for live SAP environments, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution - Analyze and troubleshoot production issues and drive performance optimization initiatives - Work within ITSM frameworks covering Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes - Ensure compliance with release management, transport management, and audit standards - Collaborate with AMS and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement Required Qualifications - At least 6 to 8 years of hands-on SAP experience across MM, SD, or ACM modules - Strong ABAP coding and debugging skills with ability to deliver high-quality solutions - Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations is preferred - Good understanding of the SAP upgrades lifecycle is an added advantage - Familiarity with ITSM processes and operational excellence frameworks Why Join Us Cargill offers a collaborative and high-impact technology environment where you can grow your SAP expertise while working on meaningful enterprise-scale solutions. - 6 to 8 years of SAP techno-functional experience - Strong ABAP development skills including RICEF objects - Hands-on experience in SAP MM and SD modules - Knowledge of ACM module is a good to have - Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations - L2 and L3 production support experience - Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and change management processes - Understanding of SAP transport and release management - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
