Work Station Support Analyst - Event Operations Specialist

Role Overview Visa, a global leader in payments technology operating across more than 200 countries, is looking for an Event Operations Specialist to join its Corporate Technology Support team in Bengaluru. This role is central to the planning, coordination, and flawless execution of corporate events, placing you at the heart of end-user interactions within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You will work closely with the Senior Event Operations Specialist and the Lead for Events and Video Production to deliver seamless event experiences. Key Responsibilities - Assist in building comprehensive event plans, timelines, and logistical checklists - Coordinate with vendors for catering, audio-visual equipment, event staffing, and transportation arrangements - Liaise with venues to confirm seating, lighting, AV setups, and all necessary permits - Support on-site setup, execution, and post-event breakdown of all event elements - Oversee the operation of AV equipment including cameras, microphones, and lighting systems - Manage live streaming and video production workflows ensuring uninterrupted broadcast quality - Conduct pre-event briefings with stakeholders and communicate progress updates regularly - Assist in post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and preparing performance reports covering attendance, engagement, and technical metrics - Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance overall event quality Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Media Production, or a related discipline - Minimum 2 years of experience in event operations with a focus on logistical coordination - Hands-on experience with AV equipment and live streaming platforms such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams - Working knowledge of video production tools including Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro - Familiarity with industry standards including H.264/H.265 codecs, AAC/Dolby Digital audio, RTMP/HLS/DASH streaming protocols, and HD to 4K resolution formats - Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels - Ability to stay composed and solution-focused under high-pressure, time-sensitive situations Why Join Us At Visa, you will have the opportunity to create meaningful impact at a global scale while developing your skills in a collaborative, innovation-driven culture. - Minimum 2 years of experience in event operations and logistical coordination - Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Media Production, or related field - Proficiency with AV equipment and live streaming platforms (YouTube Live, Zoom, MS Teams) - Knowledge of video production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro - Understanding of streaming protocols: RTMP, HLS, DASH - Familiarity with video codec standards: H.264, H.265 and audio standards: AAC, Dolby Digital - Strong organisational and multitasking skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities - Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle pressure calmly and effectively - Experience with live streaming and video production is an added advantage
