Underwriting Senior Analyst

Role Overview Accenture is seeking an experienced Underwriting Senior Analyst to join its General Insurance Operations team in Gurugram. This role is part of a global professional services firm that partners with leading insurers to transform their operations through intelligent, technology-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Property and Casualty Underwriting and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities - Manage end-to-end underwriting cycle activities including new business submission, policy issuance, mid-term endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and renewal solicitation - Triage submissions for missing information and coordinate with brokers to obtain outstanding documentation in a timely manner - Issue policies, endorsements, and cancellations while preparing policy writing instructions and processing premium billings - Assist underwriters in preparing business and metric reports and reviewing internal procedures to resolve operational issues - Perform quality control on premium audit statements prior to underwriting review and document discrepancies for resolution - Complete loss rating and develop initial pricing, basic coverage structuring, quotations, and binder packages on behalf of underwriters - Support the regional Underwriting Authority Manager in overseeing daily business activities and serve as the first point of contact for all Underwriting Assistants in the region Required Qualifications - Any graduate degree from a recognised university - 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Property and Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing within shared services or third-party BPO environments - Demonstrated experience across at least one area of the insurance underwriting cycle such as clearance, policy drafting, premium audit, reconciliation, loss runs, or document management - Working knowledge of Re-Insurance Facultative and Treaty business is an added advantage - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret underwriting data and prepare accurate reports Why Join Us Accenture offers a dynamic and collaborative work culture backed by a global network of over 784,000 professionals serving clients across 120 countries. - 6 to 8 years of experience in Property and Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing - Experience in shared services or third-party BPO environments - Hands-on knowledge of the insurance underwriting cycle including policy issuance, endorsements, and cancellations - Familiarity with premium audit, reconciliation, loss runs, and document management - Experience with Re-Insurance Fac and Treaty business is preferred - Strong analytical and reporting skills - Any graduate degree from a recognised university - Ability to coordinate with brokers and internal stakeholders effectively
