Technical Support Engineer - API and Postman

We are hiring a Technical Support Engineer with hands-on API and Postman experience to join our Chennai team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This is a full-time, on-site role that blends technical expertise with strong customer-facing communication skills. Key Responsibilities - Provide advanced technical product support to clients across multiple channels by developing deep knowledge of Chargebee's platform and features - Use tools like Postman to test, debug, and resolve API integration issues raised by customers - Understand and troubleshoot integrations with third-party tools such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and QuickBooks - Translate customer pain points into actionable product feedback and capability improvements - Create clear, well-structured knowledge base articles to enable customer self-service and reduce repeat queries - Take a solution-oriented approach to customer problems rather than providing surface-level answers - Leverage industry experience to develop innovative support solutions that improve team efficiency - Support customers round the clock on a 24x7 shift rotation basis Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical certification or equivalent hands-on experience - 1 to 3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical support role for a SaaS product - Proven working knowledge of REST APIs and frontend technologies such as JavaScript - Prior experience with at least one of the following: Salesforce, QuickBooks, Xero, or e-commerce platforms - Familiarity with payment gateways, subscription management tools, and invoicing solutions in the Fintech domain - Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Willingness and flexibility to work in rotational shifts Why Join Us Chargebee is backed by top-tier investors including Accel, Tiger Global, and Insight Partners, having raised over 230 million USD, and continues to grow at a rapid pace across global markets.
